FBI agents don't have email

CNN reported last night that some FBI agents don't even have access to email.

"As ridiculous as this might sound, we have real money issues right now, and the government is reluctant to give all agents and analysts dot-gov accounts," Mark Mershon said

Really? I mean...REALLY? We, as a country, can't afford to give all of our FBI agents access to something that my local elementary students have for free?

Maybe in the world of our government where a toilet seat costs $2000, they might think they need to budget $200 million for email, but I know a few people that could probably handle the FBI's email on their spare linux box in the basement for a few grand.

Man, I hope our military budget includes bullets for all of our troops...
